Parents Fund

Maximizing your Student’s Education

As a parent of an Ohio Wesleyan University student, you have shared your most valuable resource with us—your student. Your gift to the OWU Parents Fund helps enhance your student’s college experience while increasing your involvement in the university.

Since tuition and fees account for only 47% of the cost of an OWU education, the OWU Parents Fund helps supplement enrichments to campus life, including:

  • improving classroom technology
  • providing faculty development experiences
  • refurbishing residence halls

Whether you’re a parent or grandparent of a current student or a former student, your support has a direct and lasting impact.

Setting Sights Higher

Many parents of OWU students continue to give to the university long after their students graduate—a strong testament to the lifelong influence of an OWU education.

For the 2013-2014 school year, OWU hopes to raise $300,000, with 50% of parents participating. By making a gift, you’ll join others who care deeply about their children’s college experience.

Supporting Your Student Today

Make a gift online and enter “Parents Fund” in the gift designation line. Or mail your donation to Ohio Wesleyan University Parents Fund, 61 S. Sandusky St., Delaware, OH 43015.

Giving – One Parent’s Story

“Finding a way to give to others is a family tradition. I have continued the tradition my parents modeled for me when they supported OWU when I was a student. I will support the Parents Fund while my daughter, Natalie, is a student. What a great way to help provide for enrichment beyond the classroom!”
