Campus was filled with hugs and happiness as the University welcomed family members—even four-legged ones!—to Delaware to celebrate Family Weekend 2012.
Ohio Wesleyan broke historical numbers for Family Weekend with over 300 attendees in 2012. Thank you to the parents, families, grandparents and siblings who made it back to campus and participated in the weekend’s events. It was a beautiful fall weekend for families to visit campus and experience what makes being a Bishop so special.
Families arrived early Friday to attend Classes Without Quizzes with their student. A special thanks to the faculty members who opened up their classrooms to family members. Friday evening was highlighted by the Stuyvesant Hall Open House & Re-Dedication. Campus was buzzing with activity Saturday as families participated in many events including a Breakfast with the President, Distinguished Faculty Lecture by Dr. Michael Flamm, Student Experience Panel, an All Campus Tailgate and the OWU Football game. Admissions hosted a Fall Open House were younger siblings were able to get a glimpse of campus life.
We hope to see you again next year for Family Weekend 2013!
